Day Fourteen
Day 14 was a travel day. After maneuvering the RV through the Marriott portico and ending with the General Manager willing to help us load up our luggage (pretty sure he was ready for us to leave), we left Park City and Utah behind and continued our path North. Driving North out of Utah we crossed into Idaho and were fortunate enough to make a stop at Bear Lake. Beautiful crystal blue lake (apparently the bottom is shale reflecting the sunlight creating an incredible blue, like the Bahamas.) Bear Lake is also raspberry growing country, so we jumped right in and enjoyed some raspberry milkshakes!!! Heading North our kids can now say they have been to Paris. Paris, Idaho. We came across a stunning church in Paris developed by a son of Brigham Young. Nice stop. Continuing North into Wyoming and we followed the Snake River all the way into Jackson. Great scenic drive. We checked into our room at Teton Village and unloaded the RV. Took a little time to plan for the next four days at Jackson Hole.
Day Thirteen
Day 13 was a day for reorganization. We slept late and then finished the laundry. Catherine, Anna and J. Gar went downstairs to the teen center and participated in a tie die shirt activity. I joined them a little later for a Mario bros. game competition with J. Gar while Catherine and Anna used the workout facility. That afternoon, they rested in the room while I went on one of my hikes. Decided to go up the Park City Mountain. Turned out to be a fantastic hike. Pretty much by myself on the hike with the birds and squirrels, luckily no animals any larger. Got back in time for family movie night. Turned in early to get ready for a long day of driving.
